Professional Career for Teachers at ILTC

Nowadays, in the modern world of cutthroat competition, it is getting more and more difficult even for representatives of such an in-demand profession as English teachers to fight for a place in the sun.

The only thing one can do is to constantly perfect oneself and enhance one’s qualification. International certificates are the most convincing confirmation of a teacher’s mastership. One can get them only after having taken a special course abroad. ILTC offers an opportunity for all English teachers in Moldova to take the first step towards their international certificate: to successfully complete the ILTC Teacher Training Course and, if you are skillful enough to pass the selection, you can become a member of the teaching staff at ILTC – a school of international repute.

ILTC can be a good companion for those who have already decided to make teaching their life – long vocation. Being a leader in teaching foreign languages in Chisinau, this school was the first to introduce the most efficient and widely used method in language teaching – the communicative approach. ILTC pays much attention to new teaching techniques and approaches and uses the best of them.

All ILTC teachers have an international qualification. But their first step towards CELTA, SIT TESOL or IH Certificates was taken at ILTC at the teacher training course of teaching English as a foreign language. These trainings are regularly organized at ILTC. That’s why ILTC is famous for its talented teachers.

Every teacher at ILTC, be they a novice or an experienced one, receives great support from the professional staff of the center, including instructors and methodologists. As a rule, all the teachers constantly hone their teaching skills, taking part in numerous in-house workshops. Every year ILTC sends its instructors to other countries to get international certificates in teaching English. Some of them, being inexperienced but ambitious at the very beginning, have become highly professional in what they do. ILTC is proud of its teachers who participate in international conferences, and they are often ranked as the best for their presentations.
