Russian Foundation Course
Russian Foundation Course will suit all those willing to start speaking Russian. The Russian Foundation Course for Foreigners will develop all language skills in harmony: listening, reading, speaking and writing. The Foundation course is split into 4 levels and will take you from the Beginner to the Low-Intermediate level.
The Russian Foundation Course at ILTC is great opportunity to learn the language quickly. On successfully completing the course you will learn the basic grammar and vocabulary to communicate in Russian and to overcome the language barrier. Optimum results in shortest time possible!
Russian as a Foreign Language Course at ILTC: the system of levels
Level 1
At Level 1 you will learn the basic most frequently used vocabulary, reading and pronunciation rules as well as basic grammar constructions necessary for basic communication. On completing this level, the student will have the basic proficiency in Russian, and will be able to start communicating in Russian-speaking environment.
Levels 2 and 3
These levels focus on enriching the vocabulary. Students will learn the vocabulary used in different day to day situations. They will also develop their grammar skills and will learn to communicate their ideas orally and in writing.
Levels 4, 5, and 6
The final levels of the Russian as a Foreign Language Course at ILTC focus on developing speaking skills, on enriching the specific less common vocabulary and grammar constructions. On finishing the course the students will be able to read newspaper, magazines and modern fiction and will communicate rather confidently.
At the end of each level ILTC students take a final exam, and those passing it successfully will receive ILTC Achievement Certificate establishing the level of Russian language proficiency.

If you are a complete Beginner, the full course of Russian as a Foreign Language will take you around a year and a half to complete. If you already speak some Russian, the course duration will be shorter.
